Rancho Santana is a premier resort on Nicaragua’s Emerald Coast. When I was a junior designer at 14 West, the agency responsible for the ranch’s marketing and communications, I was tasked with refreshing the merchandise for their on-site surf shop.

The creative brief called for designs that complemented the existing brand identity while capturing the laid-back, playful spirit of surf culture. I pulled inspiration from elements familiar to the resort, like their employee surf truck and the common sight of waves and rainbows from the their five beaches.

These illustrated graphics were developed for a range of products, including hats, T-shirts, rash guards, and more.
