Pharm: The vet in your pocket.
This project was a personal exercise in UX/UI design. I thought there was a gap in the market for a WebMD-type app for pets, one that provided not only veterinary support but factual, helpful articles and information about house pets’ wellbeing, all in one singular hub – a one-stop-shop for pet owners to monitor, track, and learn more about their pet’s health.
From this rumination and a desire to practice some new design skills in UX/UI came Pharm (a combination of farm and pharmacy). This fictitious app allows for pet owners to create accounts for a variety of animals, from dogs to birds to guinea pigs!
The design is meant to be friendly and open to avoid that sense of anxiety when taking a pet to the vet while still retaining a modern, clean look that speaks of credibility and trust. The result of this exercise makes me wish Pharm was a real app I could download on my phone for my pets!
